|George E. Taylor, 88|
He was born in Pendleton County on July 10, 1924. George was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany during WWII, a member of the Butler United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 109 in Falmouth. Mr. Taylor was on the Butler City Council for 17 years and after 32 years George retired from the Kentucky State Highway Dept.
Preceding him death were parents, Charles and Edna Ruth Kidwell Taylor and brother, Bob Taylor.
Surviving are wife, Dorothy M. Taylor, Butler; daughters, Pat Taylor, Butler, Pamela Manker, Cold Spring; and grandchildren, Christopher and Jonathan Manker.
Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2013 with funeral services immediately following at the Butler United Methodist Church. Peoples Funeral Home is serving the family.
Interment will take place at the Lenoxburg Cemetery, Bracken County.
