It was quite the turn of fortune last week for the Ladycats, as the team was able to put together a solid string of performances that resulted in three victories in four games.

Head Coach Steven Peed was more than pleased with the play of his club. "Things really came together for us in a lot of different ways," said Peed. "We were able to get some solid pitching from senior Samantha Smith, who took the mound for us three times this week. We also showed much more discipline at the plate while also eliminating some of the defensive errors that had  been costing us games earlier," continued Peed.
