Runs not coming easy for Wildcats

Senior Brady Purdy uses his sweeping curveball to keep the batters off balance. The Cats play district rival Nicholas County on Wednesday.

Over the first eleven games of the season, the Wildcats scored 66 runs and was averaging six runs per game, winning four games. With scoring, came confidence on the field and in the batter’s box. Big points for a young team that field four key seniors but also rely on four sophomores in key positions on the field and in the lineup.
