Extension Offers Home Energy Management Program

We have all heard about home energy efficiency. Turn off the lights. Install a programmable thermostat. Turn down the thermostat in winter. Turn up the thermostat in summer. Do this. Don’t do that. It is very easy to feel like you are going in circles.

Base load is behavior based and depends more on lifestyle decisions. Knowing your home’s energy efficiency and how much of your utility cost goes to each of the energy categories are essential in making wise home energy choices.
