There's more to Girl Scout Cookies than what's in the box Print E-mail

It’s Girl Scout Cookie time! The Girl Scout Cookie sale, the largest girl-led business in the world, helps girls develop lifelong skills in goal setting, decision making, business ethics, working with people, and money management.

“Today’s girls are changing,” says Ruby Webster, Center Director for Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road. “Girls are learning more today than ever!  The Girl Scout Cookie Sale helps get them ready for the future, by teaching them valuable key life skills like earning, saving, and investing money. The cookie sale is an empowering experience!”

Beloved cookie favorites such as Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties and Caramel deLites will be available along with other varieties again this year, and cookies can be ordered in advance from a Girl Scout or at local booth sales. For more information, visit www.gskentucky.org or contact Ruby Webster at rwebster@gswrc.org.
