Mayor Mark Hart recently spoke to Southern’s third grade classes. He spoke to the students about government putting a lot of emphasis on the local government.

Mayor Hart commented that one of his favorite things to do for the city was to go to Frankfort and lobby for things that the town needed. Gage thought it was interesting that he had six council members to help him. Troy says, “I can’t believe that he has two jobs.” The students enjoyed his visit. Mayor Hart did an excellent job informing the students about the local government.
