Pendleton County parent Kevin Hemphill from Southern Elementary School was one of twenty-eight parents from northern Kentucky who graduated from the Commonwealth Institute for Parent Leadership. An initiative of the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence, the nationally recognized sixteen year program helps parents become more effective advocates for their children’s education.
