The Pendleton County Wildcats played two games last week and it resulted in a 1-1 split. They defeated Bracken County on the road 77-72 and lost a home game to Montgomery County 92-77.

The Wildcats first took on Bracken County last Wednesday, January 2. The Polar Bears kept it close throughout the game, but Pendleton County was able to pull it out by five points.

"We struggled with playing defense, especially in the half court," Wildcats head coach Ed Cravens said. "We scored in the mid 70's but gave up way too many easy baskets, often uncontested jumpers."
