|Jones to be honored with retirement of baseball number|
Through hard work, dedication and commitment, Nate Jones rose from the baseball field of Volunteer Park at Eiler’s Field behind Pendleton County High School to the mound of NKU Baseball Field and eventually to the Comiskey Park in Chicago home of the White Sox.
He made his debut versus the Texas Rangers and came through the television screen larger than life when he struck out reigning MVP Josh Hamilton.
Now, the Pendleton County Wildcats baseball team is honoring Nate Jones by retiring his jersey and hosting a Nate Jones night at the PC Wildcats basketball game versus Augusta on Thursday, December 6.
There will be festivities throughout the night culminating with the retirement of the #24 by the PC Wildcats at halftime.
Come out and join the PC Cat Nation in honoring Nate for his accomplishments and thanking him for being a great representative of PCHS and Pendleton County.
