Born in Indiana on August 6, 1930, to the late Earl and Elizabeth Belle Gifford McDonald. He was a farmer, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of the Fairview Christian Church in Johnsville, Bracken County.
Preceding him, in addition to his parents, were sisters, Betty Nickoson and Mary Johnson and one brother, Earl McDonald.
Surviving are sister, Anna Mae Neiser, Alexandria; brother, Charles McDonald, Perry, Fla.; his caregivers, niece and nephew, Donna and Kenny Riley, both of Foster; good friend, Pauline Smith of Foster; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The funeral service was held. on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth with Pastor Jamey Horton officiating. Special music was shared by Shawn Witte. Serving as pallbearers were Charlie McDonald, Kenny Riley, Randy Spangler, Scott Riley, Kyle Riley and Brad Riley.
Interment took place at the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth with full military honors by the Hardin- Browning Post #109.
