Trinity's annual Thanksgiving dinner Print E-mail

It is that time of the year again when family and friends of Trinity Southern Baptist Church start planning their annual Thanksgiving dinner. The menu is set, the sign up sheets are in the works for food donations and workers are being assigned.

This year, we will be celebrating 27 years of ministering to our community. Praise God that He has given us the means to reach out to so many over the past years. Last year we served/delivered over 300 meals to our brothers and sisters in Pendleton County. This year, we are planning more. Our drivers return from each delivery with a smile and always have a message to deliver back of thanks and kindness.

Our meals are shared with shut-ins, rest home residents, community service workers, those who are home alone, friends and family of the church. The church doors open at 11 a.m. for those who are able to come and celebrate Thanksgiving with us. Come in for a hot meal and warm fellowship. The tradition that the pilgrims set so many years ago is still honored with a table of plenty and Christian love.

If you are unable to come, we make deliveries. Please call the church at 859-654-2681 or 859-250-2818 (cell phone). If no one is available to take your call, please leave a detailed message on the recorder along with your phone number so we may call for directions.

Delivery orders will be taken up to 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
