|Wildcats set to take on St. Pat in district tournament|

The Wildcats concluded the 2012 regular season last week as the club was able to notch a lop-sided 6-0 win against Paris, but fell in the finale 3-1 against Harrison County.
The 'Cats go into postseason play with an 8-12 record, and tonight will take on St. Pat in the opening round of the 38th District tournament. The Wildcats defeated St. Pat last month at home in a 7-0 rout.
Last Monday, the 'Cats traveled to Paris and defeated the Greyhounds behind the continued strong play of Aven Harper. The senior mid-fielder scored four goals; a feat that he accomplished four times this season, as the 'Cats and Greyhounds battled each other as well as the elements, as torrential rain blanketed the field throughout the night.
