| American Cancer Society fights to end breast cancer |

One in every two women newly diagnosed with breast cancer reaches out to the society for help and support. According to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 226,870 new cases of invasive breast cancer and 39,510 deaths from breast cancer are expected to occur among women in the U.S. in 2012. The American Cancer Society offers 24/7 support to those diagnosed with breast cancer and their loved ones. In fact, one out of every two women turn to the Society for help and support following their breast cancer diagnosis.
