Phillip A. Sharp Middle School honored the American heroes and our fellow citizens, who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on our country. A ceremony was held around the flying American Flag in front of Sharp at 12:30 p.m., September 11, (the 11th anniversary of the attack). Veteran Bill Ashcraft directed the memorial event. There was a "Presentation of the Colors" by the Pendleton County High School NJROTC cadets.
