Lenny Brown running for PC District 1 School Board Print E-mail

“My name is Lenny Brown and I’m running for Pendleton County School Board representing District 1.  I was raised in Pendleton County and am a graduate of Pendleton County High School.  I’ve been married to my wife, Amy, for almost 23 years and we have a son, Collier, who is a 2nd grader at Southern Elementary School. I enjoy spending time with my family and being an active member at Plum Creek Christian Church where I’ve served in leadership as well as youth and music ministries.”

“Growing up in Pendleton County, I’ve seen many good things happen over the years and I see potential for even greater things to come.  I am an active member of the PTO and this is my second year as a site-based member at Southern Elementary.  During this time I have really enjoyed learning more about our schools and spending time with our administration, teachers and our students.  I believe that Pendleton County schools are on their way to a dynamic student-changing future and I want to be a part of that excitement!  I feel I can be an integral part of accomplishing the goal to reach the amazing potential we have in Pendleton County school.”

“I am running for school board because I am a parent who cares, a community member who’s involved and a taxpayer who expects good stewardship from our leaders.  I believe that Pendleton County deserves involvement with responsibility and accountability with integrity.  As a representative of District 1, I promise to put our children first and passionately pursue the potential we have and wish to see fulfilled.  Our students are the future of this community.  I take this responsibility seriously and desire to do my best on your behalf.  I would appreciate your vote this November.”

Sincerely,
Lenny Brown
