|Ernie Richie running for re-election|
I, Ernest (Ernie) Richie would like to take this opportunity to announce my candidacy for re-election to the Falmouth City Council in the upcoming fall election of 2012.
My family and I have resided in Pendleton County all of our lives. Upon graduating from Falmouth High School in 1956, I joined the United States Army and served our country for two years. My wife, Margie (Carr) Richie and I reside at 618 Woolery Street in Falmouth. We have two children, David (Dianne) Richie and Amy J. Barnes. We also have three grandchildren. We are members of the Falmouth Baptist Church.
For the past two years that I have served on council, I have always done my best to keep the people of Falmouth as my first priority and to keep taxes down. I am not serving myself, I am serving the people of Falmouth and my decisions are based on what I believe you would want. I have talked to many people over the past two years and have tried to take your wishes and put them into action. Also, I have enjoyed serving you these past two years and hope you will allow me to serve you for the next two years as well.
I will continue to have an open door policy as I have in the past. I am asking for your vote and support in the upcoming November election.
