|Falmouth City Council casts crucial vote regarding purchase of Klee Farm|

Falmouth City Council held a special called meeting on September 4, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. The single item on council’s agenda was the Klee Farm Development Project.
The agreement between the city of Falmouth, Cox Construction and the Dollar General Stores recently expired. That document stated that Cox Construction would pay the Klee Family $600,000 for their farm of 43.5 acres. After that Cox Construction would keep five acres of the property on which they would build a store, a road and a parking lot. Then, Cox Construction would lease their property to the Dollar General Stores for their commercial use.
