You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone happier to see the calendar flip from August to September than Wildcats soccer coach Lisa Feltner. It's not because her club managed just a 3-5 record to open the 2012 season, but rather the onslaught of injuries that have plagued nearly half of the team's roster.

There are currently nine players battling through a wide range of ailments ranging from minor aches and pains, to back spasms and ankle sprains and fractures. The walking (or limping) wounded Wildcats played three consecutive road games last week, coming away with just one victory. However, when it was all said and done, Feltner found herself feeling pretty good about things.
