Searching for solutions to silting problems in Kincaid Lake

A large number of concerned citizens and Kentucky officials met at the Kincaid Park Multi-Purpose Building on Tuesday, August 21 to discuss the possible solutions to the silting problems in Kincaid Lake. Heavy floods in past years have caused a great deal of damage along with the day to day water movements caused by boats traveling on the lake itself. Over the years the lake has become laden with debris of various kinds and silting has built up along the banks in several locations to the point that many of the landowners are unable any longer to put their boats out onto the water.
