Judy Gregg, 81 Print E-mail

Judy Gregg, 81, of Falmouth passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at the River Valley Nursing Home in Butler.

Born on July 26, 1931 in Pendleton County, to the late George and Beulah Butts Booher,  she married James "Jim" Gregg, who preceded her in death on November 26, 1986. She was the former Pendleton County dog warden, a  van driver for Northkey Community Care in Falmouth for over 20 years and a member of Turner Ridge Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher.

Preceding her in death were, in addition to her parents and husband, an infant son, Clay Boy Gregg; grandson, Troy Gregg on May 2, 2012; and sister, Clarita Stephens on February 23, 2012.

Surviving are children, Rella Gregg (Les) Keeton, Falmouth, Ursula Gregg (Chuck) Adams, Lexington, Terry (Genie) Gregg,  Cynthiana, Teddy (Karen) Gregg, Lonnie (Regina) Gregg and Little Jimmy (Linda) Gregg, all of Falmouth, Marlin (Michelle) Gregg,  Dry Ridge and Gary Gregg  and Darrin (Denise) Gregg, both of Falmouth; brothers, Edgar Booher, Florence  and Lynn Booher, Falmouth; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, August 20, 2012,  at the Turner Ridge Baptist Church with  Bro. Dale Beighle officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were her children. Honorary pallbearer was Ardonna Brown. Special music was shared by Lynn Booher.

Interment took place in the Turner Ridge Cemetery, Pendleton County.

Memorials are suggested to the Turner Ridge Cemetery Fund.
