Nevelyn Black, 70 Print E-mail

Nevelyn (Bush) Black, 70, of Butler passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit.

She was born in Covington, on March 12, 1942 and a member of the Butler Methodist Church and Pioneers Club. She worked at Marathon Gas Station (Falmouth) and Pendleton County Dispatch and retired from Cincinnati Bell.

Preceding her in death were parents, Chester and Laura Sear Bush; husband, Carl Black; and sister, Mary Lou Thompson.

Surviving are son, Curtis (Amy) Black, Falmouth; daughter, Carla (Rob) Maines, Butler; brother, Dennis (Patricia) Bush-Grants Lick; and grandchildren, Tayler, Robbie, Collin, Tricia.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the Peoples Funeral Home, Butler.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2012 at the Butler Methodist Church.

Interment will take place at the  Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bracken County.

In lieu of flowers, memorials, if desired, are suggested to:
