Marvin Wilson Wright, 85, of Falmouth passed away Friday, August 10, 2012, at home.
He was born in Pendleton County on August 23, 1926. Marvin was a farmer, worked for Fullers Manufacturing and also had a collectible business. He was a graduate of Morgan High School, a member of Morgan Christian Church and served in the Philippines during WWII from 1945-1946. Marvin was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Preceding him in death were parents, Lewis and Sylvia York Wright and wife, Ruby Wright.
Surviving are brother-in-law, James (Audrey) Carr, Georgetown; nephew, Thomas L. (Dianne) Carr; niece, Julia Anne Carr (Matt) Trebelhorn, Lexington; and cousins, Wilma (Leonard) Meenach, Foster. Marvin will be missed by many friends and family.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 12, 2012 at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth and was officiated by Mike Delany and David Wu.
Interment took place at the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.
