Community Hymn sing at youth fair Print E-mail

Sunday evening, July 8, the Pendleton County Youth Fair will kick off with their annual Community Hymn Sing. This is always an exciting event as churches from around the county, and area, gather to enjoy an evening of Gospel music, visit, worship, and pray over the upcoming county fair activities. A little healthy competition adds to the fun, as the church with the largest attendance is honored. A freewill offering will be taken to share with the performers and to honor the church with the most attendance.

Working in conjunction with the 4-H program and the Pendleton County Fair Board, the Pendleton County Cooperative of Churches will serve as this year’s host and program planners.

Their featured musical artists will be: Dover Creek, an exciting Bluegrass Gospel band blending great instruments and a unique family based harmony, from the Augusta/Dover/Maysville area. Also, Majestic Sounds Quartet, based in the Wilmington/Waynesville Ohio area, bringing the traditional sounds of a good ‘ole Southern Gospel quartet.

Join us at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, July 8 at the beautiful Griffin Centre Amphitheater adjacent to the fairgrounds in Falmouth for an inspiring evening of Gospel music.

Come join the fun.
