|Relay for Life Trail Ride a success|
The seventh annual Relay for Life Trail Ride on May 19 was a great success. The event raised $1,700. The trail ride was held for the first time at Ram-Z Riverside Stables and Trails in Milford, 13 miles from Falmouth.
For the wonderful event at least 110 horses and riders came out to enjoy the day. On the trail the riders were in spots where they were able to sit on their horse and see four different counties. Crossing creeks and letting the horses drink and cool off in the water while their riders talked and laughed and talk made the day.
Each of us is touched by cancer and this is one way that raising money for a cure for cancer makes it special. There were a lot of repeat riders, some new riders to the trail ride and those of you who were missed.
Supporters to mention are: Best Case Farm, 4 Gen Farm, Ware Funeral Home, Jim Mayer and Jeff and Jackie Haven.
If you missed the ride this year be sure to set the date for next year, the weekend before Memorial Day weekend at Ram-Z Riverside Stables and Trails. Camping discounts are available for that weekend.
