William R. Carrol, 67, of Falmouth passed away Sunday, May  27, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Ft. Thomas.

Born in Shelbyville, Ind. on June 9, 1944, he was a member of the Blanket Creek Baptist Church, sang in the Carroll Duo and was retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department.

Preceding him in death was son, Jeff Lovelace.

Surviving are wife, Ethel Stull Carroll; sons, Grayson Lovelace, Brad Lovelace, Wayne (Patsey) Lonaker, and Eddie Lonaker; daughters, Rebecca (Matthew) Kemm, Alison (Joel) Root, Trish (Dennis) Moneyhon and Missy (Jimmy) Randolph; brother, Chris Carroll; 22 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth.

Interment took place at Short Creek Cemetery, Pendleton County.
