Carl Edward McGraw, 89, Ft. Thomas, formerly of Falmouth, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Highlandspring of Ft. Thomas.
Born in Pendleton County, on June 30, 1922, he was the son of the late Wordy William and Lucy Delaney McGraw. For over 10 years, he and his late wife, Barbara June Lancaster McGraw, who preceded him in death on November 11, 2001, owned and operated the former Falmouth Florist. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II, and he was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church, Falmouth.
Survivors include his son, Bobby (Yolanda) McGraw of El Paso, Texas; grandson, Tien Carl McGraw; sister, Margaret Nienaber, Taylor Mill; sister-in-law, Greta (Jim) King, Falmouth and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held form 3 p.m.- 4 p.m. with memorial service to immediately follow Tuesday, April 3, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Rev. Cohen Copley officiating and military honors by the Hardin- Browning Post #109.
