Major League Baseball today unveiled the 60-game schedule for the 2020 regular season, which will begin with two games on ESPN on Thursday, July 23rd, followed by fourteen games on Opening Day presented by Mastercard and T-Mobile on Friday, July 24th, and a full 15-game slate on Saturday, July 25th.

FBI: No hate crime indicated, doubleheader at Pocono

 When you mention the FBI is investigating it usually isn’t a good thing, but in NASCAR’s situation it was good. The FBI issued a statement saying there was no hate crime and that the door pull in question had been in place for a long time.

The Florence Y’alls and Lexington Legends are proud to announce The Battle of the Bourbon Trail, a newly formed venture to take the field this summer. Both cities will form two teams that will play in front of fans every Wednesday through Sunday starting in Florence on July 31st.

     The 2020 NASCAR Hall of Fame Class was announced yesterday and fan favorite Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was selected on his first ballot. Jr. has moved from the driver’s seat to car owner and is one of the  main  commentators for NBC as well as his own show and podcast.

Max Duffy Named First-Team Preseason All-American by Sporting News

University of Kentucky senior punter Max Duffy can add another preseason accolade to his resume as Sporting News lists him as a first-team preseason All-American, it was announced Thursday. Duffy, a native of Perth, Australia, was an absolute weapon for the Wildcats in 2019.

For the past decade, Ladycat Volleyball has had a consistent presence leading the program.     A presence that won more games than any other volleyball head coach in PCHS’ history.     A presence that saw the program hoist its first 38th District title in 2012.

    Wednesday night NASCAR unloaded the haulers at Martinsville Speedway. As has been the case in the last few races there was no practice or qualifying. By luck of the draw Ryan Blaney ended up with the pole position.
