Ladycat Volleyball declaws the Panthers

    The Ladycats traveled over to the river to take on the Lady Panthers of Augusta last Tuesday.     The Ladycats who are three and one in their last four games was looking to get back in the win column.     The teams played a two set match that saw the Ladycats win both 25-20 and 25-19.

Cross Country runs the Colonel Charge

    Nestled on 300 acres in Paris, Kentucky, the Bourbon County Colonel Charge brought in runners from across the state.  Garrett Jack, senior at PCHS, was the sole runner for the varsity team.  Jack completed the tough 5000 meter course in a time of 19:21.9.

 The lifelong dream to pitch for his hometown team came to an abrupt end for Pendleton County resident Nate Jones. He was released by the Cincinnati Reds just before the conclusion of the regular season.   Jones final appearance came on Sept.

Bengals play to 23-23 tie, still winless

The Cincinnati Bengals came short in getting their first victory of the season on Sunday. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz led his team down the field with a touchdown in the last couple of minutes in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 23 apiece.

Football picks up first win

    After a tough loss to start the season, Wildcat football bounced back nicely with a convincing 24-19 at Owen County on Friday night.     In a game where the Wildcats didn’t attempt a single pass, it was their rushing attack that controlled the ball and maintained favorable time of possession.

Caudill scores hat trick over Walton Verona

    The Pendleton County High School Wildcats soccer team defeated Walton-Verona 4-1 last Tuesday, September 15 as the Wildcats honored their seniors. Senior Tyler Caudill pulled off the hat trick as he scored three goals in the victory. He also assisted on a goal by senior Ethan Courts.
