SEC Announces Changes to Kentucky Football Schedule

LEXINGTON, Ky – The Southeastern Conference has announced changes to the 2020 Kentucky football schedule due to the adjustment of several games around the league, which is happening in conjunction with COVID-19 protocols. Kentucky’s game against Missouri will now be played on Saturday, Oct.

Wildcats enter district tourney on winning note

    The Pendleton County High School Wildcat soccer team ended its regular season with a pair of wins last week and to finish with a 7-3-2 overall record.     The Wildcats faced  Williamstown last Thursday in its home regular season finale.

    This weekend took the Pendleton County Cross Country team to Ryle High School for the NKAC.       Eighth grader Sam Hodge and seventh graders Patrick Patton and Klaber Wolfe stepped up their game to run with Senior Garrett Jack in the high school race.

    Ladycat Volleyball hosted Augusta last Tuesday for their only match of the week.     The Ladycats opened the set by taking a sizable lead over the Lady Panthers. Augusta was forced to take a time out to try and break the momentum.

Burrow breaks rookie record in first Bengals victory

The Cincinnati Bengals are in the win column for the first time this season as they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 33-25 at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday.   Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow set a rookie record for 300 passing yards in three straight games.

Wildcat Soccer has mixed results

    The Pendleton County High School Wildcat soccer team had a very productive span last week as they came away with a tie and a victory in their two games.     The Wildcats went on the road to take on Mason County last Tuesday, September 29.

Wildcat Football goes lion hunting

    The Wildcats cruised to a 46-8 victory in their Week Four matchup against district opponent Lewis County. It was an impressive display of the offensive capabilities of the team. While the game did get physical on both sides, it didn’t seem to affect the Wildcats overall performance.
