Nationally-ranked Ohio State provides the next foe for the Northern Kentucky women’s basketball team. The teams will square off in Columbus, Ohio, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6.

The Buckeyes are the 19th-ranked team in the nation and sport a 2-0 mark with blowout wins over both Duquesne and Kent State. Jacy Sheldon is the ring leader of five Buckeyes averaging double-figures with 18.0 ppg. Dorka Juhasz is averaging a double-double (13.0 ppg, 11.0 rpg), while Braxtin Miller and Kateri Poole both contribute 11.0 ppg. Aaliyah Patty also contributes 10.5. OSU has nearly doubled up its opponents in the scoring column, 92.5-47.0, on the year.
Northern Kentucky is 0-2 all-time against Ohio State, but the two teams haven’t met since the 1980-81 season. Ironically, both decisions were final scores of 85-56.
The game will be carried by the Big Ten Network on Sunday, December 6 at 2 p.m.
