Six qualify for state competition in June

Six members of Pendleton County High School’s FFA Club qualified for state competition in June during the March 10 Northern Kentucky Region FFA Day.
Twenty-two 22 PCHS FFA members that competed against students from other Northern Kentucky schools in categories such as prepared speeches, FFA creed speaking and on the quiz bowl team.
Members had to place first or second to advance to the Kentucky FFA Convention June 9 to 11 in Lexington.
Advancing are:
Lilyana Miller, Ag Public Speaking Dairy, first place;
Riley Browning, Ag Public Speaking Greenhouse, first;
Klaber Wolfe, Ag Public Speaking Crop, first;
RJ Combs, Ag Public Speaking Poultry, second;
Riley Combs, Ag Public Speaking Swine, second;
Levi Wolfe: FFA Creed Speaking, second.
Pendleton County FFA also was well represented at the Northern Kentucky FFA Regional Paperwork Day on March 24. Several PCHS FFA members were at Paperwork Day to celebrate great work.
FFA Paperwork Day is when chapters submit, review and evaluate documentation required for awards, degrees and competitions before the state convention.
During the event, Klaber Wolfe retired from his position as regional treasurer.
Riley Browning was elected to serve as the 2026-27 regional reporter. It will be his responsibility to communicate and report on the happenings of the Northern Kentucky FFA Region.
Also, Isabella Roberts submitted her state degree application. She will be awarded her state degree in June at the Kentucky FFA State Convention.
Lilyana Miller and Isabella Roberts served as voting delegates for regional and state officer interviews.
