“Jonah runs from God” was the children’s message on Sunday. How many times have we all been like Jonah and ran from what God wanted us to do? Try to share what Jonah did, that everyone needs to call on God.
Tori Florer read John 14:1-3 followed by special music from the Praise Team. His Promise was Bro. Dale’s message, from 2 Peter 3:8-9. “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” v. 9
Prayer for those that are sick, have lost loved ones and those that need to hear about Jesus.

Trinity begins widow/widower ministry
By Nila Harris —Trinity Southern Baptist Church’s vision for 2026 is “Reaching the Forgotten.” As part of that vision, the church is beginning a new ministry for those who are grieving after the loss of a loved one.
“We have so many widows in our church, it’s almost a no-brainer to start this ministry,” Pastor Abram Crozier said.
The Widow Support Group will be led by church member Diane Cripe and is designed to offer resources, establish friendships and build community. There is no age limit, and it is not just for Trinity members — this ministry will be open to the community and widowers too.
The first meeting is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, with a light brunch. Following the initial meeting, subsequent meetings will be held on the second Thursday each month for a time of prayer and encouragement.
