Blanket Creek
Another exciting day at Blanket Creek this morning. We had three people move their membership here. Welcome to all. We are happy and excited to have you. Scripture as from Acts 26. Are you ready to stand trial. When Paul was brought before the judge they couldn’t find anything against him but they threw him in prison anyway but he continued preaching God’s word to them anyway. Would we have the courage to do that today? However, Jesus is the ultimate Judge and we will ALL stand before Him one day.
Remember the families of David Colvin, Mike Slone, Shawn Sydner and Jeff Arkenau.

Bro. Mark’s message was from Ephesians 2:1-10.
It’s up to us to accept or reject that gift of salvation. We all started out bad, being born with evil natures. God is so rich in mercy, he loved us so much that even though we were spiritually dead, he gave us back our lives again when he raised Jesus from the dead. Salvation is not a reward for good you have done. God who has made us what we are and gave us a new life. These earthly bodies make us groan and sigh. Our new bodies is what God has prepared for us as a guarantee. We know these things are true by believing, not by seeing. Our aim is to please God always in everything we do.

Sunday's service was a heartfelt pivot from our regular sermon series, as we paused to reflect on the tragedies that have touched our country this week. Pastor Abram led us through the story of King Josiah, reminding us that though his life ended young, his reward was eternal—Heaven itself. In the midst of heaviness, we found joy: celebrating our 32nd baptism and rejoicing over one new salvation. The sanctuary was filled with both tears and praise, a testament to the truth that we do not grieve like the rest of the world, for our hope is anchored in Christ.
We invite you to join us for the KBC Fall Rally for Hope, happening September 22 from 6-7:30 p.m. Come hear how you can be part of a movement to bring revival to Northern Kentucky this November.
Let’s rise together in faith, healing, and purpose.

The children’s message "The Ten Commandments," from Exodus 20:1-17 let Bro. Dale explain to the kids that God likes how we look when we’re following the rules. Those commandments were written to help us build a relationship with God, and to know the difference between right and wrong.
Tori Florer read Psalm 139:1-4 followed by the Praise Team special, "Jesus Your Name." We then were blessed by the message "God Who Cares," by Bro. Dale.
