Blanket Creek

We have a date and theme for our VBS. July 28 - August 1st. Send your children to Blanket Creek to learn how to “Let Gods Light Shine,” 6-8:30 p.m. Transportation and food will be provided. Call 859-466-0234 or 859-654-5080 if  you have any questions.

Plans are already underway for our annual Homecoming on August 24th. More details to follow.

Message was from Galatians 5, “Freedom.”  While our military men and women fight to keep our country free, Christ gave His life for freedom from our sin. You must accept Him as your Savior to experience eternal life with Him.

Come join us at 10 a.m., for Sunday school, 11 a.m., for worship service and 6 p.m., for Bible Study.

Blessings!

Butler Christ Community

Greetings friends! As we celebrated our nations freedom this past weekend, I hope you remembered that Jesus forgave your sins and set you free!

Have you, at a time, wondered why God put you in a place that had you scratching your head about why you were there? In our message from the pulpit this week, Pastor Ron told us of a servant girl in just such a place. She was there for a purpose to lead her master Naaman to a prophet for healing. Be like her and use unusual opportunities to lead others to God.

Our scholarship presentation, pot luck and board meeting will be held on Sunday, the 20th.

Please pray with us for all our sick and rejoice with us for our blessings.

God be with you and remember bloom where you are planted.

Pleasant Ridge Baptist

Bro. Mark’s message was from Romans 12:1-3.

Dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice. Think of what he has done for you, is that too much to ask?  Don’t be part of the bad behavior of this world, but be a new and different person.  Have a newness in all you do and think. God’s ways will satisfy you. Measure your value by how much faith God has given you. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Focus completely on God.

Turner Ridge Baptist

Our Sunday school Bible study was on John The Baptist: "A Faith That Challenges Others," from Matthew 3:1-12. John knew he couldn’t save souls, but he could point them to the One who could. That is also our job; every Christ-follower is called to tell the story of Jesus and His love for the world.

During our worship service Nila Harris shared her testimony about VBS, from childhood to being an  adult; and how where you are in life affects your participation in VBS.

The hand bell choir brought special music. It was beautiful! Perry Gregg read Psalm 33:10-12, followed by Bro. Dale’s message, "Blessed Country," from Psalm 33:13-17. We do live in a blessed country, we are allowed to worship God, but our main focus should be to tell others about God.

“Go … make disciples … baptizing them … teaching them …” Matthew 28:19-20.
