Bro. Mark’s message was from Colossians 3. This message is to believers who have accepted Christ. Since you became alive again, so to speak, when Christ arose from the dead. Set your sights on treasures and joy of heaven where He sits beside God. Let your thoughts be good and don’t worry about things down here. Your real life is in heaven with Christ. Since you have chosen God you should practice tender hearted mercy and kindness to others. Never hold grudges. Remember the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
Plan to spend time in prayer and reading God’s word.

This quarter our Sunday school lessons have been about "Risk-Takers: The Adventure of Walking by Faith." The lessons strengthen our knowledge of how God has plans way beyond our comprehension.
During the morning worship service Bro. Dale recognized the workers of VBS, many go above and beyond to share the word and love of Jesus to the children that attend. Richard Osterlind shared his testimony of VBS, he shared that in Matthew 19:14 “Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”.
Bro. Dale also recognized the fathers in the service and had prayer with them.
Brystal Smith-Beighle read Luke 15:4-7 followed by the children singing a couple of their VBS songs. Then the message was The Greatest Father from Luke 15:11-24. In the service it was said the greatest father is who teaches his children about the bible. Never give up on your children because God has never given up on you.
