We pray our fathers had a wonderful "Father's Day." We thank our "Reachin' Out Class" for their special program honoring our dads.
Bro. Kevin's message was "A Father's Faith" using Proverbs 20:7 as scripture. A successful father follows God in faith.
Ladies Bible resumes June 18 at 6:30 p.m. at church.
VBS decorating day will be Saturday, June 28.

Turner Ridge Baptist
Sunday, June 8th was an awesome day of worship, started with Sunday school at 10 a.m., our lesson was based on scripture from Joshua 1:1-18, Joshua: “A Faith Rooted in God’s Word.”
At 11 a.m. we started our morning worship service. Loran Martinez shared her testimony about her work in VBS. She also stressed the importance of covering our VBS in prayer. “The children’s message, Tell Your Friends About Jesus,” John 1:43-51. As we read in the Bible, Jesus told Phillip to “follow me,” Phillip told Nathaniel, and both became apostles of Jesus. We should also tell our friends about Jesus or bring them to VBS so they can learn about Jesus.
Emily Best read II Timothy 3:14-17 followed by special music. Bro. Dale’s message, “VBS: Evangelism and Discipleship,” from II Corinthians 9:10 “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”
Sunday night we kicked off VBS, Magnified! Discovering the bigness of God in the smallest of things.
