FAITH & VALUES

Blanket Creek

Luke 22:14-23 talks about the Lord's Supper. It talks about fellowship with Him before He suffers on the cross and ultimately dies for us.

Some people think they don’t need to go to church to worship God and that may be true. However, fellowship was very important to Jesus therefore, it should also be the same for us.

Please find a church and fellowship with fellow believers. We invite you to visit us at Blanket Creek.

We are starting a new Bible study on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. called “Worship Believers Experiencing God.” 5080 Broadford Road, Falmouth.

Remember our shut-ins and the family of Israel “Izzy” Gwinnett and others who’ve lost loved ones this week.

God is sooo Good. God is so faithful. God is in total control of floods, fires, earthquakes and tornadoes. No matter what comes our way, He is Sovereign over all! We love Him. We praise Him. We worship and honor our King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Jesus reigns omnipotent! Trust Him no matter what comes your way. In spite of whatever it may be, He loves us beyond our deepest imagination.

Bro. Mark’s message was from 2 Samuel 11-12.

David should have went to war but instead sent Joab along with the Israeli army to destroy the Ammonites.  David made a terrible choice to sleep with Bathsheba who became pregnant.  He attempts to cover his sin by having Uriah her husband come home from war hoping he will then sleep with Bathsheba to make her pregnancy seem legitimate.  Uriah refuse to go home as he is loyal to his duty.  David’s attempts to cover his sin lead to the death of Uriah which was again caused by David.

God doesn’t get us out of our sins.  God is the judge!  God is just, so sin cannot go unpunished.

Sunday, we had a great number for Sunday school, it’s a time of small group Bible study with our peers, and there is usually good fellowship as well as a time of lifting those with needs in prayer.

In our worship service, the children’s message was His Name Is John, from Luke 1:67-80. Bro. Dale talked with  the kids about when an angel visited Zechariah, John’s father, and told him Elizabeth, his wife, would conceive a son. He doubted the angel’s message and he remained unable to speak until his son was born. His son, John, would prepare the way for the Lord.

Callie Seedle read Hebrews 4:14-16 followed by the Praise team singing He Is. Bro. Dale’s message was When Our Hedge is Removed, from I Corinthians 10:13. Please read that verse this week, and know God is faithful!

We had our 5th Sunday dinner after morning worship (great fellowship), followed by the children’s bible drill, Congratulations to Perry Gregg, she will be in the Associational Drill on Sunday, April 13.

Join us for worship, all are welcome.
