Winifred Hughes, 77, of Walton (formerly of Falmouth), passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood.
She was born in Kentucky on January 28, 1945, daughter to the late Earl Ray and Stella Mae Smith Fardo.
Winifred was a member of Walton Christian church. She worked at the Dollar Store, Barnes Hardware, and Southern States for 28 years.
In addition to her parents, Winifred is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Pee Wee" Hughs, and son Dennis Hughes.
Survivors include two sons Scott (Jennifer) Hughes and Doug (Teresa) Draper; one sister Earlene Barker; grandchildren Holly (Stephen) Hutchinson, Matt (Jordan) Draper, Kendra Hughes, Ian Hughes, Ella Hughes, Jaylen Navas, and Jarren Navas; great grandchildren Addison Kate Draper, Easton Draper, River LeMay, Emerson LeMay, Clay Hutchinson, Addison Grace Hutchinson, Coltin Hutchinson, and Serenity LeMay.
Visitation will be held 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, also at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
