William Dominique Capon, 73, of Falmouth, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at his home.
Born on September 22, 1948 in Cambray, France, he was a son of the late Rene’-Henri Capon and Marguerite Berton Capon. On January 29, 1972 he married Lela Thunert Capon and she survives his passing. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a Steel worker with Interlake Steel, an employee of Dobbs International airline catering company, a KY Colonel, a member of the Southern Ohio Military Association, and enjoyed studying history and collecting antiques and artifacts.
In addition to his wife Lela, he is survived by four daughters: Gina (Mark) Regensburger, Carrie (Larry) Weber, Joy (Jason) Howard, Jill Capon; four grandsons: Jacob Howard, Trace Regensburger, Joseph Weber, Samuel Weber; and three siblings: Jacque Henri Gui Capon, Marguerite Marie (John) Cox, Jean Paul Capon; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services were held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. Military Honors were provided by the Ft. Knox Honor Guard and the Hardin-Browning Post #109. Woodhead Funeral Home is serving the family.
