Butler — Wanda Jacob Browning, 99, passed peacefully Friday, February 7, 2025.
Born in Butler, January 04, 1926, the daughter of the late Charles and Caroline Zoller Berger, she was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Throughout her life, Wanda embodied resilience and compassion. She was a woman of unwavering strength, kindness, and grace. While living in Falmouth, Wanda was a member of the Falmouth Christian Church, where she could often be found serving others through comforting meals and beautifying the community. Wanda had a passion for cooking, gardening, painting, woodworking, and sewing. She loved her family fiercely and she was adored by her children and grandchildren. Wanda’s family is grateful for the individuals that cared for Wanda in her final years at River Valley Nursing Home.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her first husband, William Jacob; second husband, John Browning; and twin sister Wilma Jacob.
Surviving her are her son, Billy Charles (Mary Jo) Jacob; daughter, Sandy (Tony) Crawford; stepson, Mark (Kathleen) Browning; stepdaughter, Sue Browning Werner; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, February 13, 2025, with funeral to immediately follow, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Falmouth.
Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
Reception to follow at 400 Main St, Falmouth (Farm Bureau Building).
