Rose Marie Schulkers, 79, of Erlanger, passed away on April 10, 2023 at her home.
She was born December 1, 1943 to the late Melville "Whitey" and Marie Wolke in Kenton County, Kentucky. Rose attended Our Lady of Providence High School before starting her career as an Analyst for the IRS Treasury Department. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church in Newport. Rose had a way of making everyone she came in contact with feel special. She was everyone’s friend. Rose put her family first and loved watching her grandchildren and grand dogs. The "Lunch Bunch" will always be special to Rose. She was an avid reader and loved to travel.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Schulkers; parents; grandsons Steven Michael Schulkers and Michael Perry Mardis; brother-in-law James Bogart; sister-in-law, Nancy Wolke; niece, Amy Wolke; and nephew, Christopher Schulkers.
Rose is survived by her sons, Matt Schulkers (the chosen one), Todd (Heather) Schulkers, Eric (Jennifer) Schulkers; daughter, Dawn (Sean) Skaggs; sister, Pat Bogart; brother, Jerry Wolke; nieces, Adele Wolke, Pam (Chris) Bogart Bryant, Cindy Bogart, Kathy Schulkers Osbourn; nephew, Scott Schulkers; grandchildren, Jesse Schulkers, Cory Schulkers, Anna (Randy) McMullen, Zachary (Jarrett) O'Hearn-Schulkers, Jordanne (John) Schulkers, Jessica (Brett) Schulkers, Jakob (Chase) Schulkers, Alexis Eckart, Shelby Eckart, Collin Alford, Mia Schulkers, Madison Skaggs, Mackenzie Skaggs, Maycie Skaggs; and great-grandchildren, Isabella Kendrick, Truitt, and Amoura Bleu Schulkers, Aiden and Ava McMullen, Calvin Schulkers.
Visitation and funeral services were held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home.
Interment took place at St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
