Falmouth — Robert “Bob” Pyles, 87, of Falmouth, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, at his home.
He was born in Cincinnati, September 16, 1937, son to the late Robert and Lorretta Tate Pyles. Robert worked in customer service for AT&T and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan and was at his best when he was around his family.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his daughter, Karen Spegal; brothers, Eddie Nichols, Gary Nichols; sisters, Nancy Neace and Myrna Whitecotton.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Didusch Pyles; children, Robert (Karen), Gregory “Scotty” (Stacey), Bryon (Janell), Robert (J.A.) “Aaron” (Jessica) Pyles, Teresa (Chuck) Bennett, Julie Enzweiler, Holly (Darren) Curso, Betty (Kyle) Shepherd; stepson, Donald (Tina) Taylor Jr.; sister, Sheryl Brown; brother, Larry Pyles; 29 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held January 2, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home, Butler.
Bob’s final resting place is at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery North, Williamstown, under full military honors. Memorials, if desired can go to American Legion Post 109 or Americans Cancer Society.
