FALMOUTH — Robert Allen Jenkins, 75, born April 13, 1949, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025.
Robert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He retired from CSX railroad after a dedicated career, where his hard work and commitment were well-respected.
For 34 wonderful years, Robert shared his life with his loving wife, Patty Wright Jenkins. His true passions lay in the great outdoors. Robert loved watching UK basketball and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a skilled craftsman, known for his beautifully crafted knives.
Robert’s family and friends will remember him as a great father and outdoorsman, whose legacy of kindness and craftsmanship will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his son, Jeff Jenkins; and brother, Danny Jenkins.
Surviving him are his wife, Patty Jenkins; children, Robert Jenkins, Nicole Ramsey; loving grandchildren, Chay Jenkins, Kate Faulkner, Cash Faulkner; sister, Nancy Ballinger; and brother, Tommy Jenkins.
Services were held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler, full Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Eddie Wright Scholarship Fund.
