Richard Allen Colvin, 81, of Falmouth, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his home. He was born in McKennysburg, KY on July 7, 1939, son of the late Lindsey and Thelma Wyatt Colvin.
Richard was a retired United States Navy Veteran and member of the American Legion Post 109. He was a skilled pilot that loved to fly. He loved sports, was a member of Richland Baptist Church, the VFW and retired Pendleton County Jailor for fifteen years.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Doug Colvin, brother Paul Colvin and sisters Phyllis Wright and Vivian Colvin.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Browning Colvin, son Todd (Marion) Colvin, grandchildren Natalie (Khalid) Zekriti, Mackenzie (Abby) Colvin, Christopher Colvin, great- grandson Remi Zekriti and great-granddaughter Rowan Ann Yatto Zekriti due this May.
Funeral services were held on Monday April 26 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler, KY.
Interment took place in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Legion or Hospice of Maysville.
