Paul A. Dargis, 76, of Demossville, KY, passed away on Wednesday July 24, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 7, 1948, son to the late Otis L. and Lorretta Welage Dargis.
Paul was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church in Williamstown and graduated from Roger Bacon High School. He was a United States Army Veteran and worked 40 years as a maintenance employee of Givaudan Flavors, formerly Fries & Fries in Cincinnati, OH. He was an avid bowler for over 40 years and enjoyed trains and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. Paul was a recent recipient of The Cincinnati Honor Flight for Veterans and was an organ donor.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Julie Black Dargis; daughters Olivia (Bradley) Dargis, Trina Dargis, Jennifer Dargis; brothers David (Melody) Dargis, Richard (Jeannie) Dargis; sister Patricia Peurrung; grandchildren Zachary (Katie) Corcoran, Corbin, Aiden and Cameron Azucenas.
In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by one sister Mary Makin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 30 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Mass of Christian Burial followed on Wednesday at St. Williams Catholic Church in Williamstown under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home.
Interment took place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North.
