Patricia Ann Gifford Ballinger, 87, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at University Hospital in Cincinnati.
Born on January 18, 1935, in Falmouth, she was the daughter of the late Robert Edward and Anna McNees Gifford. On August 31, 1951, she married Ronald Ballinger, and her dear husband of 56 years preceded her in death on February 18, 2007. For 30 years “Pat” owned and operated Patricia’s Beauty Salon in Cincinnati, where she spoiled her patrons. She was a member of Falmouth Baptist Church and a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Pat loved her family and her cats, and she faithfully sent cards to celebrate and support her family and friends. Even at 87, she enjoyed working outside in her plants and flowers.
She is survived by daughters Lee (Greg) Pace of Delhi, OH and Rhonda (Steve) Waller of Norwood, OH; grandchildren Christopher Gilb and Brooke Pearcy; great-grandchildren Troy Sexton, Seth Pearcy, and Peyton DiTullio; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services and a memorial tribute honoring her service to Order of the Eastern Star was held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. The visitation was on Saturday preceding her service.
Interment took place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.
