Nicholas William Carr (38) of Independence, formerly of Butler, KY, passed away on Monday August 8, 2022. He was born in Ft. Thomas, KY on November 14, 1983, son of Stanley Earl and Kathleen Lipps Carr.
Nick was a sales manager at Jeff Wyler, loved golfing and was a member of the Four Seasons Yacht Club and Falmouth Baptist Church.
Along with his parents Stan and Kathy, survivors include his wife Tara Pemberton Carr, children Liam Carr, Kendall Carr and Peyton Warner, sister Kelly Meadors, Grandmother Emma Carr and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death are his grandparents Charles Carr and John and Mary Lipps.
Pallbearers are Jerry Meadors, Steven Terry, Josh Plummer, John Whitson, Mike McVey, Don Jackson, Patrick Carroll, Tommy Robertson, Lonnie Clark, Alex Biddle, Donnie Odegaard, Scott Sosnoski and Logan Boone.
Visitation will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. The family asks that you please wear Nick’s favorite color blue. A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family and Nick’s final resting place will be in the Highlands Cemetery.
