Melvin Mains, 80, of Falmouth, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Butler, KY on July 13, 1942, son of the late Hansel and Stella Haley Mains. Melvin enjoyed fishing, hunting and UK Basketball.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife Dainty Anita Mains and brothers Randell and Ronnie Mains.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Powell Mains; son Melvin “Bear” (Sarah) Mains; brother David Mains; sisters Margie Rose, Wanda Jones, Katheryn Davis, Joan Brock, and Virgilene Bishop; grandchildren Desarae, Brookelyn, and Kearsin Mains.
Visitation and funeral services were held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth.
Interment took place at the Morgan Cemetery.
