BROOKSVILLE —Mary Lou Nagel Jones, 93, passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024.
She was born on May 8, 1931, to the late William and Lucy Eibeck Nagel.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” L. Jones, whom she married June 23, 1951.
She is survived by her children, Bill (Debbie) Jones of Butler, Donna King of Maysville, Robert Jones of Sanders, Barb Jones of Maysville, Janet (Paul) Sticklen of Brooksville, Karen (Jeff) Montgomery of Dover and David (Christy) Jones of Augusta; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren with soon to be 19; two sisters, Shirley Clark and Donna Koetting; a brother, Paul Nagel; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Jones, who passed away Dec. 5, 2024; a grandson, Casey Jones; one sister, Jean Pittman; and three brothers, Billy Nagel, Bobby Nagel, and Donnie Nagel; a son-in-law, Bob King and a daughter-in-law, Jan Jones.
Mass of Christian Burial will be noon Wednesday at St. James Church. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the church.
