Edgewood — Jewell Courtney Schwartz, 91, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, in Edgewood.
She was born in Pendleton Co., KY on March 6, 1933 to the late Hubert and Harriet Ingles Courtney. She was a member of Flour Creek Christian Church, retired from St. Luke Hospital, where she was a ward clerk; and her children and grandchildren considered her the best mom and grandma ever.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, John Henry Schwartz; and sister, Shirley Hacker.
Surviving her are her children, Sherry (Robert) Wilder, of Ft. Mitchell, Mark (Sherry) Schwartz, of Butler; grandchildren, Alyson (Sean) Binder, John Tyler (Christen) Schwartz; great-grandchildren, Graham Binder, Hudson Binder, John Dane, Tyler Drew Schwartz; sister, Linda (Rudy) Webster; and brother-in-law, Bob Hacker.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
